School-aged provision
The Playroom offers a childcare service for families who have chosen to home-educate. This service is designed for children aged 5-10 years old. Sessions are offered on a weekly basis between 9am-2pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and cost £20 per sessiod. The sessions are currently led by keen gardener and all-round creative, Emily Hudspith. Emily home-educates her son who joins these sessions!
We aim to work very closely with home-educating parents as they are the first and foremost educators of their children.
School-aged sessions
Children enjoy trips into the local community, beaches and the local Botanic Gardens where they benefit from a range of incidental learning experiences. We also aim to work very closely with parents to share information about activities they have engaged in during these sessions.
